Airbus is developing very interesting solutions in the Industry 4.0 field. Its goal: to increase revenues from services, which already make 5% of its turnover. Airbus is both working with big houses as IBM and buying startups, such as ProSky or Navtech, in order to launch products of predictive maintenance and augmented reality.
– Together with IBM, it has launched a predictive maintenance product for airplanes wich has Delta as a customer. It is mainly based on big data technologies.
