Bosch is using IoT to help grow asparagus

One of Bochs’s startups, Deepfield Robotics, is using Internet of Things to improve the quality of the asparagus grown in fields in Germany. With the help of sensors of ground temperature and Internet connections that send the data to a mobile app, farmers can keep the plants with the appropiate temperature, which should not go lower than 18 nor raise over 22 degrees Celsius. This is done by changing the plastic that protects asparagus. This solution is leased for 350 euros per year.
